Jean-Paul Plouffe – Golden Rule Home Care 31-January 2022

Presentation 31-January 2022

Golden Rule Home Care is committed to helping our seniors and others stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible. We will treat each of our clients with honesty, integrity, reliability, respect and consistency while honoring their privacy, dignity, property and family customs.

We accomplish this by employing only first-rate staff members who embrace the values of “The Golden Rule”. Every staff member will provide seniors with excellent care by maintaining Golden Rule’s high level of ethics and integrity, and give their very best in everything they do, day after day.

John-Paul R. Plouffe In 2007, John-Paul began his career in home care as the Director of Operations with a Boston based home care company.  As a lifetime resident of Massachusetts, he understands the culture, the people, their wants and needs.  In addition to being a professional in the business, John-Paul has personal experience as an advocate for family members who needed care.  Having gone through this experience personally has added greatly to his empathy and understanding of what families go through during this phase in life.

He says, “I have always been drawn to people with a lot of life experience, even from my youth.”  Before co-founding Golden Rule Home Care with his wife, Tricia, he had been able to observe what works best, and what doesn’t work well in the home care industry.  In order to give the very best of care, and “treat those we are responsible for, as we would want our own family members to be treated”, the best option was to create Golden Rule.

Boys & Girls Club – Kid’s Cafe

Boys & Girls Club of Worcester

Be Healthy: Kids Café

The Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to positively influencing our youth’s lives. While our many programs serve several purposes, one of those purposes is to promote healthy living. Some families who send their children to the Boys & Girls Club struggle to put healthy food on the table each night. Two nights a week during the school year members and their families are invited to enjoy a nutritious prepared meal right here in our Kids Café. Each meal is nutritionally sound, and is geared toward kids’ likes.

It’s a lot of work to put on a meal for 200 people, and that’s why we need so many helping hands in our Kids Café. From teenage volunteers to companies and organizations, volunteers offer their time and skill as they do everything from set tables, to cook and serve meals.
